Visited some places in the US (California for one) and people are much more friendly. Vancouver is very, very cliquish. If you go to the club it''s pretty much you go with your group and any attempt to intermingle with a new group gets you stares from the guys.

I was really confused when I read a thread of people talking about how they don''t live within 5 minutes of a coffee place because that would be difficult to do around here. Hell, there are places where there are 4 or more coffee stands/buildings within 5 minutes. That isn''t counting gas stations and what not that simply serve coffee.
